I really like to desk it is very functional. I would like it better though if it were a little easier to raise the desk. I have my laptop and two monitors on the stand and it does take some effort to lift it.

This standup desk riser offers solid functionality compared with its costs. I have read reviews on dozens of similar products on Amazon. This one was the second one that I bought, mainly due to its low price, preparing to return it if it does not work. However I end up keeping it due to its value. The small problem that I have is that it is relatively difficult to push it down, but it is not a deal breaker for me. After using it for over one month, I discovered that the bottom scratches the desk a little bit. Again, the desk that I put it on is not an expensive item. I do not consider it a major defect. Overall, a good purchase for me. If it lasts for five years, I got my value back already.

It's a great concept to put on top of your desk to allow for a standing option. This desk is designed for a keyboard as opposed to a laptop. The shelf isn't the most sturdy to have your laptop on, but the back shelf is just a tad out of reach. It works for now! We have plans to get a keyboard to make it a bit more comfortable. Overall, a great alternative to sitting at your desk all day.

I loved the construction and ease of use of this desk. It's sturdy, easy to put together and raising and lowering is a breeze. My main issue with the desk is that I'm 5'2 and like to have a keyboard tray. The height of the desk at its lowest point with the tray attached means I have to raise my chair. This results in my feet not touching the floor. In the end it's not ergonomic to use the desk in the seated position with the tray attached. Not a big deal. Just remove the tray when sitting, right?Yes, and no. The tray is easy to remove and reattach when needed, but it's not light and can be cumbersome to keep hauling it to and from the desk whenever I change positions. Also being short and having my chair all the way down to the floor meant I felt like I was working in a cave, even by the window. Sitting straight is not enough. It's definitely designed for someone taller. I felt too small. My other issue was that there's very little desk space without the keyboard tray. With it you have plenty of room for the keyboard, mouse and any other items. Remove it and you've lost a lot of space and are left to juggle things on the desktop. I had to keep moving things around before I raised or lowered the desk.So why 4 stars? Because it's a great desk for anyone who is taller than I am. Great quality, and performance. I highly recommend it for someone who can use it with the tray attached at all times.

After initial problems with keyboard. Company reached out to me to ship me a brand new product free of charge and apologized for my trouble. New product works incredibly

Great desk. Easily adjusts to perfect height to use while standing. Got it during cyber Monday deal and took about a month to get desk. First one arrived broken but they shipped replacement and received 1 week later. It was definitely worth the wait.

I posted the negative review below because I tried to return the desk and when I contacted Amazon they said they couldn't really help. I was frustrated with the situation and the idea of spending another $300 for a stand up desk so I wrote the negative review. However, to my surprise, Flexispot emailed me directly regarding my review and informed me that I had a 5 year warranty on the base and a 3 year warranty on the gas system. They also said they were sending me a brand new unit and it was shipping out that day. This was all done over Christmas week too, which I was surprised by the speed and the customer service. I received the new unit just 3 days later and it works great. I was very impressed with Flexispot and their willingness to fix the situation.I liked this desk in the beginning but the lifting mechanism stopped working after eights months and now it’s just a really expensive shelf for my monitors to sit in. Very disappointed in the quality of this product! DO NOT BUY!!

Bought this for my home office as I work from home a few times a week. Overall, I like it and it's much cheaper than buying a whole desk. Some downsides though- the keyboard height is not adjustable. I am 5'1 so I find the keyboard up a bit high and I cannot bring it lower. As a result, I had to stack books on the desk to bring my monitors higher. It is also a tight fit for both a laptop and a separate monitor. I have to put them slanted so they will fit and it's a bit shaky. Sometimes when I want to sit down, I have to completely remove the keyboard board so I can bring it down low and sit down and view the monitors. The set up is the easiest ever. Took me 5 minutes. This is not like IKEA confusion and stress. Overall, I've recommended it to some friends but I think if you are petite, you may encounter some minor inconveniences.

Pick this up during cyber Monday which was well worth it. Simple and sturdy desk, fits my need and even without the cyber Monday deal it's still half the price of most comparable desks!

So far it has been great. The only problem is that the handles that hold the keyboard tray broke the minute I touched them. I wasn't rough but they just snapped. for the rest of it seems quite sturdy.

After 8 months of use, it’s a little tight to move up and down. Not as smooth as when 1st purchased.

It serves its purpose. The one thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t come flush to the desk, when it’s all the way down.

    Love it!

I did just get this yesterday, but it came ready to go out of the box. It is pretty heavy, but I got it onto my existing desk, and it fits great! VERY easy to raise up and lower down. I love that I can easily remove the keyboard tray, as when my desk is lowered, I don't need the keyboard tray. As of right now, I can't find anything negative. I have one monitor and one laptop on it, but there is room for a second monitor. I have wanted one of these for a long time, and I am very happy with my purchase.

This is a sturdy and attractive standing desk. Assembly was easy - you just need to pop the keyboard tray into the main desk - all of the mechanical pieces are pre-assembled. The height adjusts smoothly and does not click-in , so you can adjust it to precisely the height you want. There is plenty of room for my two 21-inch monitors and the keyboard tray easily accommodates my 15-inch laptop or an external keyboard. Now for my only complaint. The desk surface does not work well with my optical mouse - I get a lot of skipping and the arrow moves slowly across the screen or not at all. I haven't been able to find a mousepad that fits the small, odd shape where the mouse sits. I had to cut up a larger mouse pad to make it fit.

I have Veridesk at work and I really wanted one for at home, but did not want to pay the steep Veridesk price. So I've spent the last few weeks reading reviews, watching videos, and scoping out sales and I finally decided that the Flexispot should fit what I need for about half the price. Here's a breakdown of the differences that I have noticed and which one I prefer in each category...Size - TieYou'll want to measure and determine what space you have, and what height would be best for your eye level. For my eye level at 5'4, both work great. For width I have a 35 Flexispot and a 36 Veridesk. I have 2 monitors at work, and 1 extra wide gaming monitor at home, so both monitor setups take up a decent amount of space. Luckily, both desk systems easily fit them.Raising/Lowering - Tie (for different reasons)I LOVE the fact that the Flexispot goes STRAIGHT UP, instead of pulling towards me like the Veridesk. It saves a lot of space and fits much better in my small home office. However, Veridesk has levers and both sides (Flexispot only has a lever on the right side) and it is a little easier to raise the Veridesk. However, anyone stronger than a 115lb petite female will probably have no issues with the Flexispot.Keyboard Tray - VerideskBoth have good sized trays that fit a keyboard and mouse. Veridesk gets the win because there is a little more room to move the mouse around. You can see in my picture that my mousepad hangs slightly off the tray with the Flexispot, but it is an oblong shape. A square pad may fit fine. It is worth mentioning that Flexispot allows you to easily remove the keyboard tray if you prefer (which the Veridesk does not) and that could be a helpful feature to some.Overall Quality - VerideskSlight edge to Veridesk as it feels a little sturdier, and the mechanics seem a little smoother (and lighter). However, I was surprised & impressed at the Flexispot quality. Definitely worth the price in terms of quality.Value - FlexispotHands down, Flexispot wins on value...It's more affordable and the quality difference is minimal. Ultimately, if you're looking for a Veridesk but don't want to pay $400, I would highly recommend this as an alternative. Conclusion - I am very satisfied with my purchase and would give the Flexispot a 4.5 rating if half stars were possible.

I got this particular desk for its larger keyboard tray space as I use a split keyboard, a numbers pad and a mouse and there's room for all of that!
